A Chicagoland Firm for Physician-Owned Practices
MarketVisory Group works from 2201 Ash Lane in Northbrook, Illinois, and serves practices across the Chicago area and nationwide. Founder Carl White has about 25 years in healthcare marketing, from Fortune 500 companies to his family’s independent pharmacy. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and is a certified consultant with Duct Tape Marketing.
The firm works only with independent practices and says it does not take on startups or venture-backed rollups.
Three Packaged Marketing Systems
Work is sold as systems. Healthcare SEO Jumpstart is for practices competing for new patients in busy local markets. The Healthcare Local Marketing Foundation keeps listings and local presence in order for referral-driven practices. Healthcare Reviews Management handles review requests and responses. The homepage says the firm serves primary care, pediatrics, OB-GYN, physical therapy, speech therapy, counseling, dentistry, podiatry and chiropractic offices.
Clients can add a marketing plan, websites and email newsletters, and the firm sells a HIPAA digital marketing assessment through its PracticeCare brand.
Pediatric Clients and Their Reported Returns
Children’s Wellness Center is a pediatric practice in Chicago’s south suburbs with three MDs and two nurse practitioners. It hired MarketVisory in early 2024 for SEO Jumpstart, email and a new website. The firm says the practice gained 69 reviews between June 2024 and November 2025, after collecting 37 in the previous eleven years. Monthly website visitors rose from 600 to 876, the monthly newsletter reaches more than 1,900 parents with open rates above 60%, and the return on spend is put at 7:1.
The homepage lists a 22:1 return for Children’s Healthcare and an 8:1 return for North Shore Associates Gynecology Obstetrics. Northwestern Children’s Practice, React Physical Therapy and Cornerstone Dermatology appear among other clients.
Fixed Fees and 30 Days’ Notice
Each system carries a fixed monthly fee, though the amounts are not posted. Agreements run month to month and need 30 days’ notice to cancel. Any change to a client’s marketing system needs the client’s approval.
White also writes for Medical Economics, speaks to practice groups and hosts the PracticeCare podcast, so prospective clients can hear how he approaches local marketing before booking the free 30-minute call.
What a Pediatric Practice Can Ask

- How do you ask parents for reviews without sharing protected health information?
- Who besides the founder works on our account each month?
- Will you sign a business associate agreement before handling our newsletter list?
