A Philadelphia Search Firm Founded by Wil Reynolds
Seer Interactive was founded in 2002 by Wil Reynolds, who is still CEO. The firm is based in Philadelphia, closed its San Diego office in May 2025, and is a Certified B Corp. Seer says it works with more than 130 enterprise clients and keeps 92% of them year to year.
Healthcare is one of several sectors in its client base. Its hospital work is the reason it appears here.
The service list covers paid media, SEO, generative engine optimization, analytics, creative, conversion rate optimization and AI marketing consulting through a program called SeerAdvance. Seer became a Google Premier Partner in 2026.
Einstein Healthcare Network Appointment Requests
Seer’s published healthcare paid search case study is Einstein Healthcare Network, a nonprofit system in the Philadelphia region. The team mapped keyword intent across the patient search journey and rebuilt campaigns around priority service lines. It rewrote ads to name the service a person searched for, such as OB/GYN, and added a call to request an appointment. Seer and the hospital then built a landing page for each service line with a direct appointment request path.
Seer says online appointment requests rose 197% year over year against a goal of 140%, a target the hospital set from its own past results, and landing page performance improved 266%. The results run through December 2015. Before relaunching, the team checked keyword coverage for each service line so high-intent searches were not missed.
Budgeting for an Enterprise Search Partner
Seer does not publish rates. Health systems should ask how fees are set for paid media alone versus a combined paid, organic and analytics scope, and whether landing page builds sit inside the retainer. Seer’s 92% retention claim points to long engagements, so ask about notice periods and how account access is handed over at the end.
