A 2025 Start-Up for Independent Practices
Healthcare Marketing Group, which also brands itself simply as Healthcare Marketing, was founded in Newport Beach, California, in 2025. Founder and CEO Steven Lockhart says he has more than 25 years in marketing, 15 of them working only in healthcare. The firm calls itself small on purpose and works with independent practices across the United States.
Its specialty list runs to 32 fields. Behavioral health is described as its deepest area, with primary care, pediatrics, surgical and dental fields also covered.
Content Volume, Search and Reviews
Services sit in four groups. Infrastructure covers WordPress websites, migrations, call tracking and brand identity. Authority covers clinical content, blog programs, video, press releases and organic social. Visibility covers technical and local SEO, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and paid social. Growth covers review generation, patient newsletters and reactivation campaigns.
The agency says entry-tier sites start at 500 pages, blogs publish seven posts a week, and review programs aim for four to eight new Google reviews a month. Newsletters and reactivation emails are described as running without touching protected health information, and a working site is promised within two to three weeks.
A Pediatrics Program Built Around Parent Searches
The pediatrics page targets the searches parents make: well-child visits, newborn care, developmental screening, ADHD evaluations, asthma management and allergy care. It adds a new-parent hub covering newborn onboarding and after-hours coverage, a same-day access page and a symptom triage library.
The page cites written parent or guardian authorization under 45 CFR 164.508 before any child appears in marketing content. Named clients are not shown without permission. The agency says a five-provider psychiatry group grew to more than 40 providers over about 18 months.
A $2,000 Monthly Floor
The pediatrics page states that engagements start at $2,000 per month. Clients get a figure on the first call. The site says nothing is locked to a subscription and that clients can leave and take their work with them.
Cost rises with how competitive the local market is and how much has to be built, so a pediatric office in a large metro should expect a higher quote than the floor. The agency lists a five-hundred-dollar SEO retainer among the setups it is not a fit for.
Questions Before Signing a Pediatric Engagement
- What would a single-location pediatric office receive at the $2,000 starting level?
- Will you sign a business associate agreement?
- Can you introduce a pediatric client who has agreed to be a reference?
- How are parent authorizations collected before a child appears in photos or video?
